Rupandehi police tortures buffalo herder

It was August 21,2013,  Vijay Kumar Yadav,34, originally from Rupandehi VDC Aama-4 Sunbal, was passing going to graze his buffalo. It was then Sub-Inspector Rishi Ram Dahal and Police Constable Badan Murau of Aama Sukrauli police office called  Yadav to the police office and kept him in detention without any reason for it. Dahal and Murau beat  him mercilessly with the same  stick Yadav was carrying to control his buffalo.

The police repeatedly slapped on his face,  kicked him on his chest and back with their boots. He could not  sleep that night  because of the injuries he sustained in his whole body, legs, chest,  cheek, both ears,  and the feet.  His family members were denied to meet him. The police threatened him with a dire consequence if he registered any complaint against them (the police). Yadav's  body has been aching  ever since he was tortured and has swelling in the body. His constitutional rights and legal rights were violated due to torture inflicted by them. He was crammed  in a very small and filthy room. Yadav's health report prepared by Bhim Hospital,  Bhairahwa  has proved that he was beaten with sticks and he had bruises  in the body.
