Urgent Appeal

Terai Justice Center is seriously concerned about the abducting arrest of Dr. C K Raut, who got arrested by Nepal Police. It has been reported that he was arrested while returning from a public programme in Rangeli, Morang, today around @ 7PM. Sources says, he was arrested by a team of 12 police officials. It is supposed that he got arrested because of his speech today. TJC appeals to the government and the police officials to respect the Right to freedom of Opinion and Expression enshrined in the Constitution. TJC urges to the concerned all to take an immediate step to insure the rights of Raut curtailed by the government.
